he Pantheon (ancient Greek: πάνθειον [ἱερόν]?, Pántheon [hierón], "[temple] of all the gods"), in classical Latin Pantheum,[1] is a building of ancient Rome located in the Pigna district in the historic center, built as a temple dedicated to all the gods past, present and future. It was founded in 27 BC by Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa, son-in-law of Augustus, who dedicated it to the goddess Cybele and all the gods.
